North Chicago’s “Tastes of our Neighborhood” Food Truck Festival and Car Show is fast approaching, and we hope to welcome a huge crowd to this community builder and summer kick-off event! Please plan to bring the entire family and join us on Thursday, May 28 from Noon to 7 p.m. 1850 Lewis Avenue. Stop by anytime!

At Georgia's Food on the Go, we celebrate the rich cultural exchange between African, European, and Native American cuisines. Our menu showcases bold flavors inspired by this fusion of traditions. La Olanchana will be serving Honduran pupusas. Honduran pupusas are thick, handmade corn tortillas (or rice flour dough) stuffed with savory fillings like cheese, refried beans, or chicharrón, then cooked on a griddle. A staple in Central America, they are traditionally eaten by hand, served hot with a tangy cabbage slaw called curtido and mild salsa roja.
