Studio North and North Chicago Win Prestigious Telly Award
The City of North Chicago is undergoing a city-wide rebrand. A rebrand means taking steps to change how the city is presented so that our citizens see their community in a new way. A rebrand involves updating things like North Chicago’s logo, signage, website, and messaging. To formally introduce North Chicago’s new logo, our strategic partner, Studio North produced a documentary titled, “The New History of North Chicago.”
Recently, Studio North and the City of North Chicago won a "Telly Award" in the "Films and Shorts" Bronze Category under the heading "General-Social Impact" for the documentary that launched the city's rebranding efforts. This category recognizes projects that drive social change and awareness. Many staff, elected officials, and community members attended the premiere of the documentary held at North Chicago High School. The brand launch was successful and certainly created a buzz city-wide and beyond about North Chicago’s rebrand.
A Telly Award recognizes excellence in video and television, honoring work across all screens, from local commercials and web series to branded content, social video, and immersive experiences, judged by industry professionals on creativity and production quality, not budget, making it a benchmark for outstanding video storytelling. Winners include major brands and creators, and awards are given in gold, silver, and bronze tiers for various categories.
Congratulations to our residents, city staff, city council, and our strategic partner Studio North!
