North Chicago’s New Logo Reflects City’s Forward-Looking Vision
Mayor Leon Rockingham and the North Chicago City Council are proud to announce the launch of its new official logo and slogan. The new logo replaces North Chicago’s logo that has been in place for nearly 40 years! The new logo, developed by North Chicago’s own Studio North Marketing Agency, was selected from input from more than 1000 residents who shared their feedback by way of an online survey, paper ballots, and interviews.
“Our new logo represents both our city’s rich history and our forward-looking vision for the future. It will appear on official city materials, signage, vehicles, website, digital platforms and much more over the next several months,” Mayor Rockingham explains.
Residents who identified this logo as their “favorite” commented on how the logo “captures the strength, diversity, and progress of our community.” The logo “just looks nice and fresh.” Another commented, “I like the saying and the style.” And another said, “It has a safe and welcoming feel to it.”
“We think the City of North Chicago’s new logo and brand is much more than just a logo—it’s a reflection of OUR North Chicago spirit and OUR bright future. Together, we’re writing the next chapter of North Chicago’s story—and it’s a story filled with opportunity and an updated look that we hope inspires community pride and continued forward progress. I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come and the bright future ahead for OUR city,” Mayor Rockingham said.
